Harshvardhan Chaudhary

Harshvardhan Chaudhary is a sustainability professional with a strong foundation in Finance, Communication and on-ground fieldwork, building expertise in livelihood development, ESG, impact evaluation and CSR. Currently pursuing an MBA in Sustainable Development at the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, with the core foundation on SDGs, he brings a holistic approach that leaves no one behind in development and sustainability, aiming to bring solutions to the problem of people, planet and profit as a whole.

His experience comprises data collection, analysis, stakeholder engagement and research. During his fieldwork at the Forest Department of Chandrapur, Maharashtra, he researched and assessed field data on human-wildlife conflict, livelihoods based on bamboo, and plantation management. His summer internship at Panna, Madhya Pradesh, under the People Science Institute gave him on-ground exposure to watershed management, livelihood development, sustainability and carbon markets. He has dexterity in the use of Excel, Power BI, QGIS, LCA, NVivo, GEE and data analysis.

He now looks forward to making the most of his MBA at IIFM and taking on different roles and responsibilities to grow and understand the domains of sustainability and development better.
